“Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come
and will not delay."
Habakkuk 2:2-3

Last August I started a podcast called, “His Voice”. I created this podcast podcast as an outlet to release what all God has been dealing with me on while allowing others to learn how I hear from God. My emotions were on a high; I was thrilled to have God put this on my heart again to pursue. I instantly searched up Canva and started to create templates for instagram content, creating a logo, making a schedule, etc. Your girl was all in lol.
But let me tell y’all something, that motivation soon died pretty quickly as I was trying to manage school, wedding planning, and everything in between. My discipline meter had surely ran its course.
You’re probably thinking why share that, huh? Well, we are approaching a new year among us and it’s so common to see so much thrill in the beginning of the process until we find ourselves deeply involved.
So this year, I invite you to join me on my word to live by this year… “Commitment” . I pray that every plan you create, you submit it to the Lord and allow Him to order your steps. Then, stay committed to the process no matter how ugly it may get this year. I want us to find discipline in our goals and approach them all with intention and hope that the Lord’s will, will prevail.
I chose commitment and adventure for my two words next year to live by after God directed me to these words over and over from some sort of central theme in my life. I plan to learn the meaning of commitment and stand by it while also allowing myself to take adventures and seize every moment.
It’s funny, because as I write this, I’m afraid of being tested by my own words. But, hey, I’m human, and I’m learning to give myself grace when I mess up and simply just try again.
Cheers to staying committed to the plans that God has for us! Let’s hopefully revisit this by the end of 2022 to see how we did. Love you guys!
Happy New Year!
